A legacy that keeps giving.
Every Friday, Denise’s Pantry welcomes our neighbors with free groceries, fresh food, and the respect every family deserves.
What happens here
Denise’s Pantry is more than a place to pick up groceries. It is a weekly gathering built on service, kindness, and neighbors taking care of neighbors.

The woman behind the mission
Denise’s Pantry was created in loving memory of Denise Thomas-Holmes, whose life was rooted in faith, public service, and caring for others.
After 35 years with the Philadelphia Police Department, including service in the Special Victims Unit, Denise continued to lead through her church and community. When she passed in 2020, her family turned that spirit of care into action.
“Service was not just what she did. It was who she was.”
